Equipment rental

Access to the rental

Kitesurf equipment is made available within the non-profit framework of the school. It is reserved for members, students or former students of the school, holding a level of autonomy validated by a certified instructor. The sole purpose of this activity is to allow the supervised and safe practice of kitesurfing.

• A rental contract must be signed and a cash deposit is required for every rental. It is returned when the equipment is handed back.
• The renter must provide a valid identity document.
• Our team reserves the right to refuse the rental. For reasons of a level not reached or not proven, poor weather conditions or risk,…
• Our team in charge is the sole judge of whether the rental is accepted.
• No refund is given if the renter has not used the equipment.

Condition of and liability for the equipment

• The renter acknowledges having received the rented equipment in perfect condition.
• The renter must check the condition of the rented equipment on collection.
• The renter uses the equipment at their own risk. The Kitesurf Belgium school is not liable for injury or damage caused by the renter to themselves or to third parties.
• The renter is liable for any damage caused to the equipment during the rental period.
• The renter may swap equipment depending on availability, the rate formula and the centre’s opening hours.

Breakage, loss and theft

• Repairing the equipment is at the renter’s expense.
• If the repair costs exceed 100 euros, the renter must buy the equipment at the second-hand price.
• In the event of loss or theft of the equipment, the renter must pay the second-hand price (a price list is available at the centre).
