Step 1

Initiation

80€

  • During your initiation, you will learn how to handle a kite, understand the safety systems, and prepare a marine kite.
  • Duration : 2 to 3 hours (depending on the number of people – 2 to 6 max).
  • Included : All necessary kitesurfing equipment for your lesson.
  • What to bring : Weather-appropriate clothing + sunglasses.
  • Lesson content : A bit of theory (weather/safety), preparation, setup, and piloting a kite.

Step 2

Bodydrag

  • Discover the power of a marine kite in the water as you get pulled by the kite. First jumps on the horizon.
  • Time : 2h30 (if the student is alone = private lesson of 1h30).
  • Included : All necessary equipment for your lesson.
  • What to bring : Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
  • Lesson content : Control and relaunch a kite in the water. Go upwind and downwind with and without a board using body dragging.

Step 3

Waterstart

  • After a few simulations on the beach, it’s time to put on the board and try to make your first meters. The more skilled will already be doing their first tacks !
  • Time : 2h30 (if the student is alone = private lesson of 1h30).
  • Included : All necessary equipment for your lesson.
  • What to bring : Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
  • Lesson content : The first water-starts.

Step 4

First rides

  • This is where you will truly learn to navigate, go upwind, make your first turns, and don’t forget your first jumps !
  • Time : 2h30 (if the student is alone = private lesson of 1h30).
  • Included : All necessary equipment for your lesson.
  • What to bring : Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
  • Lesson content : Putting on the board independently. Waterstart, navigation techniques, and going upwind.

* The pack includes steps 1, 2, 3, and 4, and must be paid in full no later than the day of the first lesson.

IKO

Registration on the IKO website is free. After completing the 4 kitesurf lessons, you will receive your IKO license, demonstrating your level. Further up on this page, you will find more information about the content of each lesson.

Important :

Kitesurf is a weather-dependent sport, and sometimes lessons may be cancelled. Essentially, we cancel a lesson when the wind is less than 3 Bft or stronger than 7 Bft. Of course, we will contact you to reschedule the lesson.

We always contact you 24 hours in advance to confirm the lesson. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, your lesson will be postponed !

Stage 1 takes a total of 3h for 5-6 people, 2h30 for 3-4 people and 2h for 2 people. In-water lessons are always for a maximum of 2 students per instructor.
